Catwoman #29

I admit it.  They got me.

Things I liked: I didn't see that twist coming.  I spent the whole issue thinking that it was a very odd job  for Catwoman.

Things I didn't like: she smashed an unknown chemical on a security guard.

Catwoman #28

This one was a bit disjointed.

Things I liked: she went beyond who she was looking for who she is.

Things I didn't like: they hollowed out his bones?  I don't think so.

And the Gothtopia crossover.

Things I liked: Catwoman fighting against herself.

Things I didn't like: how they chose to break her.

Catwoman #26

The end of the Underground saga.

Things I liked: most of the payers will never be seen again.

Things I didn't like: I prefer Catwoman topside.  The Underground was weird, even for Gotham.

Catwoman #25

I like these Zero Year crossovers.

Things I liked: seeing where Selena started.

Things I didn't like: solid issue.  No complaints.

Catwoman #24

Under Githam is just weird.

Things I liked: Tesla is cool, too bad she's probably dead.

Things I didn't like: Tinderbox and the Joker's Daughter are dumb.

Catwoman #23

Just how much is under Gotham?

Things I liked: Tinderbox was wonderfully shallow.  And Catwoman called her on it.

Things I didn't like: the whole Gotham Underground is a silly place.

Catwoman #22

Um... Right.  Madness underground it is.

Things I liked: I had been wondering about the Gotham Underground.  I guess now is as good a time as any to find out about it.

Things I didn't like: madness.  This seems to be bigger madness than Catwoman often deals with.

Catwoman Annual #1

Although issue #21 makes more sense, the whole story feels disjointed.

Things I liked: at its core it has the potential to be a really good Penguin story.

Things I didn't like: it just isn't.  The motivations aren't there and there feels like there's bits missing.

Catwoman #21

I'm a little out of order here so maybe it'll make more sense whe I've read the annual.

Things I liked: Penguin's molls are amusing.  Why wouldn't they talk about their job?

Things I didn't like: this gang war seems over the top, even for Gotham.

Catwoman #20

I like it when Batman villains fight each other.

Things I liked: she's going to get herself in trouble.  I like that she doesn't know when to stop.

Things I didn't like: the Penguin stealing jewels to put on his mother's corpse.  That's a level of crazy that the Penguin doesn't have.

Catwoman #19

Stark contrast between Batwoman and Catwoman.

Things I liked: her attitude towards authority is fun to watch.

Things I didn't like: she doesn't belong in Arkham.  There's another prison in Gotham that she is suited to.

Catwoman #18

Aw... They care for one another and don't want to admit it.

Things I liked: when Catwoman realized there was something more going on in Batman's head and pulled him out of it. He needs people like her around.

Things I didn't like: her contact knowing that he's getting her into trouble. She doesn't need people like him around.

Catwoman #17

A fun art heist, that's what I like about Catwoman.

Things I liked: that she admitted most thieves are not of the cat burglar variety.

Things I didn't like: I don't like the Milo subplot. I can see where it's going.

Catwoman #16

I think this might be the summer of Eclipso. I see signs pointing in that direction.

Things I liked: she's self aware enough to know she's hit rock bottom.

Things I didn't like: in some ways it was too easy to get out. She and Darwin weren't even supposed to be in the Black Room.

Catwoman #15

I'm not sure how I missed this one so it looks like I get the whole arc in one month.

Things I liked: frantic. The pace was just frantic. It makes her seem a little unhinged by the Joker.

Things I didn't like: a bit too mystical for Catwoman. This is not the scene I expect her to be in.

Catwoman #15

The Joker's working awfully hard to convince Catwoman that she loves Batman. He must have known it would drive her away.

Things I liked: very on your toes type of story. She didn't feel safe through the whole thing.

Things I didn't like: I have no idea how her shadow is supposed to look like a cat.

Catwoman #13

I'll admit it, this one didn't make much sense.

Things I liked: she really does know who she is and isn't afraid to admit it.

Things I didn't like: stealing giant chess pieces? That blew up with people inside? That's off. Even for Gotham.

Catwoman #12

Really good issue. One of my favourites so far.

Things I liked: her knowing when to call in Batman, the art, the reveal of her best friend/fence killing Spark. There were too many to choose just one.

Things I didn't like: Dollhouse seemed to take Selena down too easily. The Cat has moves.

Catwoman #11

Catwoman wasn't burned nearly as badly as I expected when Spark was revealed last issue. Maybe next time.

Things I liked: the streak of good she's got in her.

Things I didn't like: the plot's too similar to a Criminal Minds episode I've seen a few too many times.
