The start of the whole Doomsday thing.

Things I liked: it makes a bit more sense now that I've seen the beginning.

Things I didn't like: the art was so static.

I really like the way Starfire treats Superman.

Things I liked: great dialogue from Lobdell.

Things I didn't like: sigh, everything has to be intergalactic doesn't it.

Damn, Lois still has powers.

Things I liked: Cat was fun.

Things I didn't like: gah!  More Lois nonsense to come.

I don't like Lois with powers but this was a disappointing ending.

Things I liked: Superman has to question himself.

Things I didn't like: generally not satisfying.

Lois Lane doesn't need super powers.

Things I liked: Parasite could be interesting.

Things I didn't like: telepathic too, huh?

Bleh.  I liked this Superboy.

Things I liked: Superman used his brain.

Things I didn't like: melodramatic much?

Ugh!  Now Lous knows who he is?  I'll bet she forgets as soon as she wakes up.

Things I liked: I'm a sucker for the enemy if my enemy is my friend.

Things I didn't like: giving Lois psychic powers.

Parasite #1

Parasite is one of those villains that is empathetic.

Things I liked: his new origin is more current.  More of trying to make Superman the problem.

Things I didn't like: not a fan of the character design.

H'El #1

How does this even work?  Time travel is sketchy at best, this is not the best.

Things I liked: more about Jor'El than H'El.  I'm fine with that.

Things I didn't like: looks like he killed Jor'El before getting a chance to father Superman.  I hate time travel.

Brainiac #1

I always forget Brainiac amongst Superman's foes.

Things I liked: seeing why he does what he does.

Things I didn't like: I want to know more about Noma.

Bizarro #1

They had to make Bizarro new without making him dumb.  They may have succeeded.

Things I liked: Lex is the obvious choice.

Things I didn't like: Lex is the obvious choice.  I realize they're not going to make Bizarro an alien but there's already a clone of Superman floating around.

Superman Annual #2

I wish Lois were in more Superman stories.  She's missed.

Things I liked: very good story.  Nice use of Lois as a reporter.

Things I didn't like: the fourth part of a story started in Action Comics.

Superman #23

I skipped the annual.  Doesn't seem like much happened.

Things I liked: I like when Superman has to solve a problem without punching it.

Things I didn't like: I can't believe it's the Psycho Pirate.

Superman #22

This is actually more intriguing than I thought it would be.

Things I liked: the Twenty has potential.

Things I didn't like: Superman going off the deep end like that.  It seemed off.

Superman #21

Sometimes I'm reading along and something screams, "Foreshadowing!"  That never turns out well.

Things I liked: Superman musing on the perils of him being penniless.  It's something that makes him more human.

Things I didn't like: self-centered much?  Does it really have to be all about him?

Superman #20

Orion is awesome as always.  I should push for him to get his own title.

Things I liked: that full page spread of Superman punching Orion through the museum was amazing.

Things I dint like: resolution by Wonder Woman.  Good thing she showed up.  Not like men could figure it out on their own.

Superman #19

I love Orion.  I hope his gets his own series somewhere.

Things I liked: Hector Hammond is an interesting foe for Superman.  He's all about what he can do with his mind and most of Superman's enemies really focus on being ophysically powerful.

Things I didn't like: I shall curse Superman forever for bringing back Diana Prince.

Superman #18

Superman should totally have a blog.

Things I liked: Superman's response to the committee. He's right, they don't have the jurisdiction. He's got a home out of country and he doesn't have to show them around, nor does he have to sure dee anything to them.

Things I didn't like: Cat's website name is terrible. The idea isn't too bad but everything else is terrible.

Superman #17

Kara finally came to her senses!

Things I liked: Superman really let loose on H'El. He should have done that ages ago.

Things I didn't like: ugh, time travel.

Superman #17

I wish Kara wasn't so dumb. Of course whatever H'El's sling is going to cause great destruction. That's the way time travel works.

Things I liked: Batman's comment to Superboy. He should have a better idea why Red Robin is the way he is.

Things I didn't like: mostly that Kara has the dumb on. Give her a taste of home and she stops asking questions.
