Lex's virus makes no sense to me.

Things I liked: the Batman/Superman team is always fun to follow.

Things I didn't like: but Power Ring isn't a meta.

Justice League #35

This does everything a prologue is supposed to do.  I'm very excited by what's coming.

Things I liked: Geoff Jones writes my second favourite Batman.

Things I didn't like: Lex has a hand in too many pies.

Justice League #34

Owlman's back!  He was one of my favourites from Forever Evil.

Things I liked: nice set up for whatever's to come.

Things I didn't like: how can Flash teach Power Ring?

Future's End Justice League #1

I read one in the right order!

Things I liked: I still find it amusing that Dr. Manhatten was created to be Captain Atom and now Captain Atom looks like Dr. Manhatten.

Things I didn't like: it's not the Justice League.

Justice League #33

I don't like Lex is League material.

Things I liked: Batman talking Jessica down.  He isn't always a dick.

Things I didn't like: I don't get what Lex thinks he's doing.  He knows the League is non-lethal.

Justice League #32

I've always kind of liked the Doom Patrol.  I don't know if I'll like these guys.

Things I liked: Robotman is still the solid one.

Things I didn't like: the Chief is uh, crazy.

Justice League #31

Ah Lex, if only you weren't evil.

Things I liked: the conversation between Lex and Bruce was all kinds of greatness.

Things I didn't like: Shazam is supposed to have the wisdom of Solomon.  He should use it.

Justice League #30

Geoff Johns loves writing Lex Luthor.  So much so that he's bringing him into the Justice League.

Things I liked: the last panel was the payoff.  Though Flash's comments were great too.

Things I didn't like: I don't want Luthor in the Justice League, especially if he brings along Captain Cold.

Justice League #29

Ugh!  I want to get back to Forever Evil.  Cyborg has never been a favourite if mine.

Things I liked: it's almost over?

Things I didn't like: cliche much?

Justice League #28

For an origin story that's breaking up the flow, it's not bad.

Things I liked: the Metal Men are back!  With personalities that have been updated.

Things I didn't like: it was breaking the flow of Forever Evil.  If Johns wants to bring them back, why not as a back up feature like Shazam?

Holy build montage.

Things I liked: Cyborg's new design is sweet.

Things I didn't like: the montage was a little much.

Justice League #26

So familiar, yet so not.

Things I liked: Cyborg's not quite dead.  That's a good thing.

Things I didn't like: Grid's desire to be a real boy.

Justice League #25

Whatever world the Crime Syndicate comes from is messed up.

Things I liked: Nightwing thought about Owlman's offer.  I always enjoy a panel of stillness in an Ction comic.

Things I didn't like: Alfred is plotting something. I can feel it.

Justice League #24

I know it's not subtle, but I love it when they do variants of "classic" covers.

Things I liked: motivation.  It's trying to give motivation to the characters.

Things I didn't like: Ultraman's a dick.  Not that he shouldn't be; his dickery just doesn't make sense.  They tried to make him exactly opposite to Superman.  Some things worked (Ma and Pa Kent).  Some things didn't (Jimmy Olsen, pornographer).

Secret Society #1

This was so good!  Easily my favourite of the bunch.  It answered so many questions and raised some too.

Things I liked: Talon as a sidekick for Owlman makes more sense than Robin for Batman.  I liked that they brought the Court of Owls into the story.

Things I didn't like:  I'm still a little unsure if Thomas is Bruce's dad or if he's his brother.

Dial E #1

I was disappointed with this one.  All the other villain month issues I read did something, this was an excuse for throwing out a list of terrible superhero code names.

Things I liked: the cover was very cool.

Things I didn't like: no story, no consistency.  No point.

Lobo #1

Interesting... Lobo's not Lobo.  Huh.  I can see where some people are upset.

Things I liked: actually I kind of like that concept.  I was never a big fan of Lobo.  This guy seems much more calm and collected.  Much more like he was before Simon Bisley got a hold of him.

Things I didn't like: I liked this issue quite a bit.  It was tight.

Darkseid #1

I don't know the origin of Darkseid so I can't say how this stacks up.  I have a suspicion that this is the only origin of Darkseid.

Things I liked: gave a reason for him to be a new god.  I always thought that was weird.

Things I didn't like: that his main purpose is destruction.  That's going to be a problem for him at some point.

Justice League #23

The Secret Society, huh?  And from Earth 3?  They can't get away from multiple earths.  They tried and now they're all back again.

Things I liked: it's a good intro to villains month.  All those covers I've been seeing make sense now.

Things I didn't like: Phantom Stranger, dead.  Cyborg stripped of his cybernetics.  Superman with a sliver of kryptonite in his brain.  But mostly the Atom being evil.  It wasn't that long ago she was moaning because she was a double agent, but now it was all a game?  Why bother with thinking about how she didn't want to screw people over when it was the only thing she wanted to do.
