Talon #17

I think that was the last issue.

Things I liked: he's alive!

Things I didn't like: if the art were better I might have recognized the Talon at the end.

Talon #16

I don't think that's how a Lazarus Pit works.

Things I like: Calvin's reasons are still good.

Things I didn't like: really suffers from sub-par art.

Talon #15

Well, I guess this was interesting.  More for mud run than end run.

Things I liked: so that's what it's like to be a Talon.

Things I didn't like: how about a Talon we've seen.

Talon #14

It's too bad the art is so poor.  This could have been cool.

Things I liked: everything is all tidied up.

Things I didn't like: the art is so bad.

Talon #14

It's a shame that these last few issues have a poor art team.

Things I liked: that Calvin knows Dick.  It seems fitting.

Things I didn't like: Sarah as a blood thirsty little girl.  Even if she's been brain washed it's too extreme.

Talon #12

Feels likes it's winding up to the end.

Things I liked: can't be in Gotham long without running into Batman.

Things I didn't like: Calvin doesn't seem the type that Batman lets in his city.

Talon #11

Calvin is an interesting character.  It really is all about the escape for him.

Things I liked: good plan.  Well executed.  I would have liked to see a bit more of the group helping him but I understand literary shortcuts.

Things I didn't like: psychoanalysis from Bane.  It doesn't seem his style.

Talon #10

I really enjoyed the art for this issue.  It was really dynamic.

Things I liked: Calvin goes all in.  Not to the Talons but in getting his girls free.

Things I didn't like: mixed up the timeline a little.  What happened last issue didn't make sense with what happened here.

Talon #9

I don't remember Calvin having a goatee.  I hate goatees.

Things I liked: that he's still trying to not do what they want.

Things I didn't like: yeah, that guest starred the Birds of Prey.  Really, all two panels.

Talon #8

They finally did it.  They killed Calvin Rose.

Things I liked: I thought the resurrection page was quite powerful.

Things I didn't like: his open top cowl makes less sense with him dead.

Talon #7

Looks like the one live Talon isn't so much anymore.

Things I liked: Batman!  Yeah, he is kinda set up here but in Gotham he needed to show up.

Things I didn't like: making Haley's Circus the recruiting area for the Court makes me wonder how Dick didn't know.  He and Calvin are about the same age, they should know one another.

Talon #5

I've been having a problem skipping issues lately. Tis makes more sense in context.

Things I liked: nice to see Gotham in context. Nothing gets by Batman.

Things I didn't like: pretty solid issue actually. It had a little bit of everything.

Talon #6

I thought something like this would happen.

Things I liked: using your daughter to keep the man occupied? Classic Casey, classic.

Things I didn't like: how could so many Talons keep appearing under Batman's nose?

Talon #4

I like how things from All-Star Western keep showing up in this series.

Things I liked: aside from one panel I really liked the art this issue. It flowed very well and it got the emotion across where it need to.

Things I didn't like: sappy! Now he's got a girl and a child to look out for. And try to have a little family in his business? Forget it!

Talon #3

They really mined the circus for everybody, didn't they.

Things I liked: I love heist capers.

Things I didn't like: why is everybody so antagonistic towards Calvin? Doesn't he have any friends?

Talon #2

Still trying to establish what it's planning to be, but I like what Snyder has put together so far.

Things I liked: Calvin has untapped depth.

Things I didn't like: I lost how he opened the puzzle, it wasn't clear from the art.

Talon #1

I didn't like the idea of the Talons getting their own series. They were great foil for Batman, but undead assassins don't make for a good series. I like Scott Snyder so I gave it a chance. I'm glad I did.

Things I liked: he's not dead. That's really the first thing. Plus he's got a reason to be doing what he's going to do.

Things I didn't like: would have liked a little more background. I'm really curious as to who Calvin Rose is. They didn't tell me enough!
