A new phase starts with Superman being a dick again.

Things I liked: cool fortress at the bottom of the ocean.

Things I didn't like: she's very, very stubborn.

Green Lantern New Guardians #10

I could have sworn I already read this one, but I can't find a record of it.

Things I liked: the Blue Lanterns can really cut loose when they have a Green Lantern present.

Things I didn't like: don't understand why the Reach were after them.

Green Lantern Annual #1

The Guardians are creepy, little, evil dwarfs.

Things I liked: I did not see this coming. This is the creepiest plan ever.

Things I didn't like: I wonder how dead Hal Jordan is. He seems to be Johns' favourite so it can't be for long.

Green Lantern #10

I missed one! I was kinda confused by the story.

Things I liked: that Jordan wants to believe Sinestro can be redeemed.

Things I didn't like: I missed it and I didn't notice. That says something.

Fury of Firestorm #12

That was worth the wait.

Things I liked: climaxed nicely. The boys are back together and Zither is out of the picture.

Things I didn't like: not sure I like where they're going with Firehawk.

Flash Annual #1

Tying up loose ends before moving on.

Things I liked: answered some questions I had about the Rogues.

Things I didn't like: I'm used to better art than this.

Flash #12

The Flash has an interesting rogues' gallery. Not as good as Batman's but very few are. Johns is doing his best to give them real character.

Things I liked: Golden Glider is so much better here. So much better than as an ice skater.

Things I didn't like: can anything go right for Barry?

Batman Incorporated #3

I can't believe they left Damian alone. Don't they know better?

Things I liked: Matches Malone is such a great character as a disguise for Batman. He's got a lot if personality.

Things I didn't like: Dick must have been wearing lifts, there's no way he could loom otherwise.

Aquaman #12

Massive cliffhanger, especially heading into zero month. I like this new Aquaman.

Things I liked: Aquaman takes damage from bullets. Not a lot, but enough that there's something that hurts him.

Things I didn't like: still don't like Mera, though I did like her interactions with Ya'wara. Maybe she'll leave him when she finds out he's not perfect.

All-Star Western #12

Jonah Hex is such a great character.  I love how the series is about him but is told from other character's perspectives.

Things I liked: Tallulah kicked some major ass this issue.  I don't think she's sticking around much longer but she's making a case for being nearly as interesting as Hex.

Things I didn't like: the back story was meh.  I do like Dr. Thirteen, but I don't think he was used to his full potential in these stories.  They felt rushed and unfinished.

Green Lantern New Guardians #12

I'm not quite sure how Sayd expected Kyle to lead anything. I'm not even sure of his place in the Corps.

Things I liked: when they work together, they work well.

Things I didn't like: it was a bad plan. A bad plan to begin with.

DC Universe Presents #12

I'm not a big fan of Bart Allen. I do like the way Fabian Nieciza writes him but I miss Wally in the new 52.

Things I liked: Nieciza does a good job of portraying the world of a speedster. I always imagine everything going just a little too slowly for them.

Things I didn't like: the whole dinosaur island was hard, but dino people? Just a little too much for me.
