I'm not sure what to think of this one.  It was a really long intro to a Legion of Super-Heroes story.

Things I liked: always fun to see the Legion.

Kori has more depth in the new 52 than people give her credit for.

Things I liked: this was a good arc.  It felt like something was happening.  That the three of them were coming to a crossroads.

Things I didn't like: I don't get the liquid behind the lock and the white dress on the beach.  And it looks like waiting two months is the only solution.

Batman and Robin #34

Yay!  Dick was involved in the meeting.

Things I liked: that he's not planning to take the Robins to Apokolips.

The art was really interesting in this issue.  Batgirl goes to South America and the art feels very South American.

Things I liked: very fluid.  The art was frantic and the action grew from that.

Green Lantern used to be simple.  The green guys were the cops and the yellow guys the enemy then they confused it with the spectrum.

They know how to do big fights in Green Lantern.

Batman, Aquaman and Starfire; characters whose origins I'm familiar with.

Things I liked: Aquaman's new origin makes a lot more sense.  I really like the addition of Dr. Shin making Arthur his life's work.

Things I didn't like: Kori's origin has subtle differences from her original and I'm still not sure I like those changes or if they don't matter.  Kori's joy is gone, but she was a slave.

The plot by the new commissioner is the dumbest thing ever.

I was really more interested in how Batman had a microscopic ship fly into his bloodstream rather than in the cliche voyage into Batman's brain.

So the last issue was a capper and then this caps things even more.

Things I liked: I was hoping for a big revelation of Harvest.  Almost got it.

I wouldn't trust my super secret organization to Green Arrow, especially since he only found out about it 5 minutes ago.

Things I liked: yes, that's what should happen with Sword versus Fist.

Things I liked: I never really got in to the Batman Beyond Universe but I've always liked how bitter and alone old Bruce is.

Interesting idea to tie Ivy to seasons.  I've seen it done before but I think Simone may have come up with the definitive.

Things I liked: Ivy is almost, but not quite, a sympathetic character.  She's very complex in this story and I liked that.

Things I didn't like: she was a little too crazy.  I like her crazy but she didn't seem functional.

Batman Eternal #4

Batgirl is not taking this well.

Things I liked: I'm liking Bard.  I hope he keeps it up.

Things I didn't like: obligatory "meat" scene for Gordon in prison.

I'm a sucker for origin stories.

Things I liked: seeing Superman's origin from his mothers' points of view.  Lara and Martha are so often overlooked.  Kyle Higgins hits upon the difference between Bruce and Dick.  Batman mourns his parents' deaths, Nightwing celebrates their lives.

Things I didn't like: Supergirl's origin was nothing that hadn't been done in her series so far.

Ack!  Crossovers!

Things I liked: the thoughts of Batman and Superman as they got to know Power Girl and Huntress.

Things I didn't like: the issues don't seem very coordinated between the two series. Bothered something missing as I read from one to the other.

Worlds' Finest #20

I think Dick would get a chuckle out of Helena's memories.

Things I liked: batman is all business, the only one.

Things I didn't like: she fell for that?

Not a big fan of crossovers.  I read the first part before I knew there was a prologue.

Things I liked: been waiting for this.  Almost as I saw it.  Still want her to meet Dick.

Things I didn't like: how can Karen's people not see she has superpowers.

Back when they were Supergirl and Robin.

Things I liked: seeing Clark and Bruce as parents.

Jumping around a bit because there's a crossover.

Ugh!  I want to get back to Forever Evil.  Cyborg has never been a favourite if mine.

When did Jason become the go to guy in the DCU?

Things I liked: Roy came through.

Things I didn't like: steal from the Blackhawks to steal from S.H.A.D.E.?  Sounds like name dropping to me.

That is one manly looking Amazon.

Things I liked: not much to be honest.

Things I didn't like: I was looking forward to this one.  I like Batman and Wonder Woman together but the manly Amazons and the numerous mentions of a musky Batman put me right off.

Wonder Woman #30

I think Hera wants to be a substitute mother for Diana and that's why she can't turn Hippolyta back from clay.

Things I liked: Diana's impassioned speech to the Amazons.  It made sense, so many speeches don't.

Things I didn't like: wow, those Amazons really hate penises.

Batman Eternal #1

I'm going to get this right out of the way... I think the big villain us Ra's al'Ghul.

Things I liked: it's Jason Bard!  Looks like Bab's boyfriend is back.

Things I didn't like: how is Jim arrested for this exactly?

Batgirl #30

A nice tribute to Nightwing.

Things I liked: Barbara's emotions really came through this issue.

Things I didn't like: Gotham is really piling on the supernatural.

Superman/Wonder Woman #7

And the world holds it's breath.  Normally I don't mind when a comic takes time for the hero to be ordinary but I feel this is leading up to something.

Things I liked: the different ways they go about healing says so much about them.  Diana goes to her family for help, Superman goes off to be by himself.

Things I didn't like: the only reason to start another Doomsday arc is for them to try to build up anticipation for the Justice League movie, but that's not for another 2 years.

Detective Comics #30

A new art team is exciting.  I loved Manapul's work on the Flash and I can't wait to see what he can do with Batman.

Things I liked: this is grief like I expected.  The Dark Knight title never got it right.  Manapul does first try.

Things I didn't like: killer squids are hard to find.  And don't do well in captivity.

Teen Titans #29

Ugh.  So much wrong with this issue.  From the cover that has no relation to the inside.  It shows what happened last issue!  To reappearing into the middle of a fight that had been the whole of the first arc.  This was just a bad issue.

Things I liked: seeing Kirin in her human form.

Things I didn't like: pretty much everything else.

Green Arrow #30

I love the art in this book.  It's the best part.

Things I liked: Ollie took charge.  He comes off as a bit whiny but I get where he's coming from.

Things I didn't like: Robert getting himself shot in the back as a way for his son to forgive him has been done to death.

Batman: the Dark Knight #29

I'm beginning to worry about Batman.  First he doused the city in a mist made of his blood for an antidote to fear and now he's letting himself be impaled to cure Man-Bat.

Things I liked: he's worried about the homeless?

Things I didn't like: everyone seemed out of character this issue.

Red Hood and the Outlaws #29

Another space adventure.  Sigh.  They just got back from an otherworldly thing, can't they deal with other stuff for a bit.

Things I liked: not sure how I feel about Roy being a super genius.  It adds something to his character but it's not something I've ever associated with him.

Things I didn't like: kind of convenient for the alien to speak something close to Tamarean.  It would have more sense for it to just be something she knew.

Wonder Woman #29

Yay!  No more stone Amazons.

Things I liked: Artemis and Apollo do have a really weird relationship.

Things I didn't like: Hera just getting her powers back.  It was too easy.

Batman and Robin #29

I knew it was coming.  The search for Robin begins.

Things I liked: of course Ra's al Ghul is going to resurrect his daughter and grandson.  Why wouldn't he?

Things I didn't like: the romp through guest stars this is going to involve.  Plus, being housed in a whale's uterus does not make the clone part aquatic.

Nightwing #29

Almost the end.

Things I liked: the speech Dick gave at the end to the girl he saved is why I love Dick Grayson and the words Kyle Higgins puts in his mouth.

Things I didn't like: the cover makes it feel like a drawn out battle between all of Dick's foes.  Instead, it's just Zsasz.

Batman #29

Awesome splash page.  I loved the Batman silhouette.

Things I liked: he failed.  The a Riddler still got his plan going.

Things I didn't like: the bone villain has poor motivation.

Batgirl #29

Silver is definitely crazy.  Hallucinations and all.  Not for believing in vampires.

Things I liked: the kid actually was vampiric.  I thought for sure she wouldn't be.

Things I didn't like: there's a giant bat (several) flying around Gotham and Babs is surprised there's vampires?

Justice League of America #13

I'd have to look back but I'm pretty sure I predicted that this whole story was in Stargirl's mind.

Things I liked: she did overcome.  Props to her.

Things I didn't like: I thought there'd been a mistake when I saw Batman and Catwoman.  I still think Catwoman is a mistake but it makes sense when they proved me right.

Superman/Wonder Woman #6

I don't think Wonder Woman can stand up to a Kryptonian.  It's interesting, bit I don't think she's that strong.

Things I liked: that they're using Diana's mythological background.

Things I didn't like: the armour was hokey.

Forever Evil #6

Noooooooooo!

Things I liked: that Dick was willing to sacrifice himself.  Noble to the end.

Things I didn't like: Nightwing's dead.  Now, I expect that he's only mostly dead.  That Lex's plan is to kill him just long enough to defuse the bomb.  However, they've been hinting for months that this was the outcome and all the things I've been seeing for Batman's 75th anniversary are Dick-less.

Batman/Superman Annual #1

The paper stock for this title makes me feel like I'm reading something much classier.

Things I liked: Jason and Kara getting along.  They seem like they would.

Things I didn't like: the groupings seemed more like what the writer wanted than what is happening in the individual titles.  I still don't know how Steel and Batgirl were able to sneak off.

Detective Comics #29

Poor Catwoman, Batman broke her heart.

Things I liked: working with Poison Ivy was an interesting development.

Things I didn't like: the delivery system of the antidote.

Green Arrow #29

At least the Clan system makes a little sense.

Things I liked: good to see Diggle as part of the team.

Things I didn't like: Ollie's awe fully quick to toss out the sister card.

Batman/Superman #8

I think Batman has Helena's age all wrong.  There's no way she's only 17 with the lifestyle she and Karen lead.

Things I liked: I still want the Nightwing and Huntress meet up but the first go round with her father is OK.

Things I didn't like: I can't believe Batman is that trusting.  Even with the DNA test.

Teen Titans #28

Teenagers.  Stupid, stupid teenagers.

Things I liked: it's almost over.  This whole plot hasn't made much sense to me.

Things I didn't like: Soltice would rather go to prison forever than give up her first boyfriend.

Batman: the Dark Knight #28

Yet another Man-Bat.  Ho hum.

Things I liked: Batman pilfering evidence from Commissioner Gordon.

Things I didn't like: didn't we just have a story about a better Man-Bat serum.  And another one just before that?  There's got to be a better go-to for villains.

Justice League #28

For an origin story that's breaking up the flow, it's not bad.

Things I liked: the Metal Men are back!  With personalities that have been updated.

Things I didn't like: it was breaking the flow of Forever Evil.  If Johns wants to bring them back, why not as a back up feature like Shazam?

Red Hood and the Outlaws #28

Poor Jason, everywhere they go chaos follows.

Things I liked: a good arc bridge.  Sometimes a little downtime is a good thing.

Things I didn't like: I hadn't gotten the impression that Jason and Isabel were all that close.

Wonder Woman #28

I quite like the art in this series.  She looks solid, yet still feminine.

Things I liked: Wonder Woman always looks for the good in people.

Things I didn't like: Dio gave up pretty quick.

Batman and Robin #28

Woot!  Looks like the last of Batman and a Two-Face.  I wasn't a fan.

Things I liked: Batman refusing to leave Gordon.  He's had enough death.

Things I didn't like: I don't believe for a second that Harvey shot himself.

Batman Black and White #6

I think this is the last one.  It was a good issue nonetheless.

Things I liked: especially enjoyed the Robin story.

Things I didn't like: the Batman in the future story was the weakest.

Nightwing #28

So enjoyed this issue.  It was very much Dick Grayson has a terrible day.  I like when the focus shifts to the other side of the mask.  It must suck for him to be that guy though.  The guy that's expected to comfort the child because he's been there.  It's not like he's really gotten past the whole thing.  It's kind of what defines him.

Things I liked: the casual mention of death during superhero fight.  They always say they can't save everyone but they never talk about the ones they can't save.

Things I didn't like: obviously heading toward the end of the series.  Mr. Zsasz is where Forever a Evil starts.

Superman/Wonder Woman #5

Wonder Woman has widely varying power levels but I loved this.

Things I liked: she's so cool.  She did what Superman couldn't.

Things I didn't like: Amazonian serpents.  They were too not serpents for Greek myth.

Batgirl #28

I like Gail Simone so I'll give this a chance but Batgirl + vampires is weird.

Things I liked: Batgirl cautioning him to let her know if they sparkled.  I can hear the disdain.

Things I didn't like: Mary sort of came out if nowhere.  I haven't been following Birds of Prey so I don't know the relationship there.

Batman #28

A preview of Batman Eternal is an interesting idea.  Especially starting half way through.

Things I liked: she said sidekicks.  I have hope that Nightwing makes it out of Forever Evil.

Things I didn't like: I don't like Harper Row.  I don't like her in Nightwing's colours.

Justice League of America #12

Martian Manhunter dead?  Again?  Somehow I doubt.

Things I liked: I expected as much from Stargirl.  It wasn't quite what I thought but I knew it was tragic.

Things I didn't like: Martian Manhunter's a bit of a troll.

Forever Evil #5

I don't think Catwoman quite understands how Batman works...

Things I liked: no more Power Ring.  He was a terrible character and I'm glad he's gone.

Things I didn't like: but I want to know what happened to Nightwing!

Detective Comics #28

Gothopia continues.

Things I liked: Batman is prepared for anything.

Things I didn't like: so Scarecrow might not care about Batman's identity, but none of them would?  I have a feeling there's more to this delusion.

Green Arrow #28

I don't know what to think of this clan business.

Things I liked: the print screen effect with sounds for the fight.  Very clever.

Things I didn't like: Robert still being alive.  It lessens the impact.

Damian: Son of Batman #4

Well, that's that then.

Things I liked: that the Joker was there in the end.  He's such a big part of the Batman mythos it's almost not the same without him.

Things I didn't like: I still feel like Damian's trying to prove something.  It's not about the mission for him.

Batman and Robin Annual #2

Batman and the original Robin together.  Yay!

Things I liked: Dick as a teen is not all the different from Dick as an adult.  The escape stunt in the helicopter was improbable but oh so awesome.

Things I didn't like: it's a reminder that we'll probably never see this again.  Damian or Dick.

Teen Titans #27

Sigh... And another Titan falls to poor characterization.

Things I liked: the narration box was right, the Titans have lost the plot.

Things I didn't like: I never liked Bart as Kid Flash, but at least there was something there.  He was brash and fun loving and goofy.  This Bar Torr is everything wrong with the future.  This storyline has been terrible from the beginning.

Batman: the Dark Knight #27

Another silent issue.  This went a bit better.

Things I liked: the dark shadow Batman casts.

Things I didn't like: little late for a Christmas story.

Batman #27

Putting the glasses back in his pocket was a nice touch.

Things I liked: the relationships that Snyder is giving Bruce.  I like that everyone has to fight tooth and nail to get into his world.

Things I didn't like: not much, this Zero Year is solid.

Justice League #27

Holy build montage.

Things I liked: Cyborg's new design is sweet.

Things I didn't like: the montage was a little much.

Red Hood and the Outlaws #27

Oh good, it's over.

Things I liked: Jason came through.  I was worried he wouldn't.

Things I didn't like: too mystical a storyline.

Wonder Woman #27

I was a little concerned with this next phase of Wonder Woman, but I'm not disappointed.

Things I liked: I know she's up to something.  That little smile says she is.

Things I didn't like: the Minotaur as a gimp.

Batman and Robin #27

I don't like that this title has turned into the Batman teamup book.

Things I liked: having Harvey start off as a defense attorney adds a new complexity to the character,.

Things I didn't like: Gotham must have the least control airways of any city.  People are always taking them over.

Worlds' Finest #17

I want to know more of the firebug and less of Karen's out of control powers.

Things I liked: the mystery is what really interests me in this story.  They're playing it out slowly.

Things I didn't like: so she hitches a ride into space and thinks a non-disclosure agreement is going to keep him quiet.

Poor Power Girl.

Things I liked: Helena's inner monologue about what her mother taught her about the business is always illuminating.

Things I didn't like: this whole PowerBirl becomming powerless is a tired storyline.

Feels likes it's winding up to the end.

Things I liked: can't be in Gotham long without running into Batman.

Things I didn't like: Calvin doesn't seem the type that Batman lets in his city.

Things I liked: interesting concept.  The Green seems really powerful.

Things I didn't like: they sent him to the moon.

Jason Woodroe!  I've missed him.

Things I liked: Capucine kicks ass.

Things I didn't like: the art was melty.

Arcane #1

I thought this would be more about Anton Arcane than it really was.

Things I liked: it was still a good story.

Things I didn't like: I don't like the rot.  Of the three powers it seems the worst.

Parasite #1

Parasite is one of those villains that is empathetic.

Things I liked: his new origin is more current.  More of trying to make Superman the problem.

Things I didn't like: not a fan of the character design.

H'El #1

How does this even work?  Time travel is sketchy at best, this is not the best.

Things I liked: more about Jor'El than H'El.  I'm fine with that.

Things I didn't like: looks like he killed Jor'El before getting a chance to father Superman.  I hate time travel.

Brainiac #1

I always forget Brainiac amongst Superman's foes.

Things I liked: seeing why he does what he does.

Things I didn't like: I want to know more about Noma.

Bizarro #1

They had to make Bizarro new without making him dumb.  They may have succeeded.

Things I liked: Lex is the obvious choice.

Things I didn't like: Lex is the obvious choice.  I realize they're not going to make Bizarro an alien but there's already a clone of Superman floating around.

Superman Annual #2

I wish Lois were in more Superman stories.  She's missed.

Things I liked: very good story.  Nice use of Lois as a reporter.

Things I didn't like: the fourth part of a story started in Action Comics.

Superboy #24

Its like they give him a new origin very few months.

Things I liked: Psycho Pirate was fun.

Things I didn't like: is Superboy's origin really so mysterious anymore?

Sinestro #1

Sinestro is a tough character.  He's either so villainous he's ridiculous or so sympathetic you feel for all that he must have gone through.

Things I liked: I liked the addition of Arin Sur to Sinestro's back story.  It gives his life more focus.

Things I didn't like: this is Sinestro's #1 fan's version of the story.  I wished the panels could have shown his failings while she remembered greatness.

Mongul #1

This is a villain I actually recognize.

Things I liked: quite the story behind Mongul.  That's exactly how I picture someone becomming a warlord.

Things I didn't like: maybe a little over the top.

Relic #1

This was my problem with Villain Month.  There were lots of villains where it was a reintroduction to the DC Universe, and then there's characters like Relic.

Things I liked: it was a pretty good high science fiction story.

Things I didn't like: I'm kind of tired of the light smith thing.

The Rogues #1

I don't know how I feel about the Rogues...

Things I liked: on the one hand it takes a whole lot of marginal villains and groups them together.

Things I didn't like: on the other they apparently had to have their DNA rewritten.

Reverse Flash #1

They can almost make him an empathetic character.

Things I liked: they tried to give him a reason.  Sometimes people are just bad, it makes sense that some might not be that bad.  Of course, he's still a killer.

Things I didn't like: the monorail is fused to him.

Grodd #1

Gorillas as villains is silly.  Maybe as silly as gorillas in clothes.

Things I liked: they tried to make Grodd relevant.  To be more than an intelligent gorilla.

Things I didn't like: giving all these extra powers to Grodd.

The Flash #22

Since the artist changed on Batwoman, this is my new favourite art book.

Things I liked: the Reverse Flash is everything he's supposed to be.

Things I didn't like: except he's Daniel West.  Wally's dad looks like he's never going to be able to introduce Wally.

Things I liked: Desaad has more character than I've seen for a long time.

I'm a little behind with this one.  Things are falling into place.

Things I liked: origins.  I always like origins.

Things I didn't like: I was promised Batman by the cover.  I didn't get him.

Just how much is under Gotham?

Things I liked: Tinderbox was wonderfully shallow.  And Catwoman called her on it.

Things I didn't like: the whole Gotham Underground is a silly place.

Things I liked: she's got a plan anyway.  She'll need that.

Things I didn't like: not the same flow.  A new artist will do that.

Black Manta #1

Back to Villain Month feels weird.

Things I liked: trying to give Black Manta purpose.

Things I didn't like: don't see how he saved his helmet.

Wow!  Lots going on this issue.

Things I liked: Aquaman really pushed himself.  Topo was cool.

Things I didn't like: that club foot at the end looked weird.

Aquaman Annual #1

I like the Outsiders.  I want to see more of them.

Things I liked: Sky and Aaron do have a connection.

Things I didn't like: Morganna le Fay as an environmentalist.  Not really her style.

Animal Man Annual #2

Aw man, that one made me cry.

Things I liked: it had a lot of courage to kill a kid in a comic.  The emotions that are coming out feel very real.

Things I didn't like: the Spider Queen was a little gross.  I don't have a fear of spiders but she could give me one.

All Star Western #23

Jonah knows how to find them.

Things I liked: Jinah refuses to change.  That's great in a way.  It makes him look crazy.

Things I didn't like: maybe it's just recent events in the news but this had a very pro-gun feel.  I don't approve of that message.

Nightwing #27

I thought this storyline might go a little longer.

Things I liked: probably the ending was the best part of the story.  His self-realization, the detective work on his roommate but the best was Jen's goodbye.  The suspicious look on his face was wonderful.

Things I didn't like: Mali had potential.  Potential that was swept back under the carpet.

Batgirl #27

Things I liked: interesting to see what Bab's thinks is Utopia.

Things I didn't like: Knightfall as a friend.  I was hoping this character would go away.

Putting boots back on, tousselled hair... Clark and Diana have sex!

Things I liked: didn't come right out and say it, but DC is letting them have an adult relationship.

Things I didn't like: I still don't get why it was such a big secret.

Justice League of America #11

I think it's going to be bad when Courtney finally goes through that door.

Things I liked: suspense.  There's plenty of it around Stargirl.

Things I didn't like: so why's Clayface on the cover? 

Detective Comics #27

So good.

Things I liked: amazing.  This book was everything Batman's 75th anniversary should be.  The tribute to Bob Kane and Bill Finger, the look at Batman through the ages, everything.

Things I didn't like: I was worried about breaking the spine.

Batman/Superman #7

I'm about done with the side scrolling.

Things I liked: Superman broke the game.

Things I didn't like: I knew they were going to do it, but talking around Batman's "death" annoyed me.

Green Arrow #27

I love the art for this series.  It's so cinematic.

Things I liked: so many visuals were so good in this issue.  It gave motion and pushed the story along.

Things I didn't like: Robert Queen must have been a giant dick.  Psychologically traumatizing his son for some weird Arrow cult.

Batman Black and White #5

I recognized more of the names in this one.

Things I liked: most if the stories were quite good.  Nice to see Nightwing helping out.

Things I didn't like: the first story was not my favourite.  Batman death tests don't fit my image.

Batman: the Dark Knight #26

It's an interesting way to tell a story, but ultimately a gimmick.  Especially when it includes word balloons of the bat symbol.

Things I liked: at least they tried something new.

Things I didn't like: it takes a lot of talent to move the story forward in a way that makes sense with no words.  There wasn't enough talent here.

Teen Titans #26

Why are they looking all uncomfortable at the end?  They've all done the same thing!

Things I liked: it sort if makes sense.  Kind of convoluted but I get where they're going.

Things I didn't like: starting a revolution is only wrong if the government is just.  There's no way they can see this government as just.

Damian: Son of Batman #3

The art is so good in this series.  Andy Kubert loves drawing this character.

Things I liked: Damian's log entries are in past tense.  It's a small thing but I like that he's writing this after it happened.

Things I didn't like: Alfred is now a cat?

Forever Evil #4

Some I'd the threads are coming tigether.  At least it's a well scripted story.

Things I liked: Batman and Luthor sizing each other up.  They're very similar men.

Things I didn't like: the art on the cover was terrible.  Inside wasn't much better, but the cover was ugly.

Justice League #26

So familiar, yet so not.

Things I liked: Cyborg's not quite dead.  That's a good thing.

Things I didn't like: Grid's desire to be a real boy.

Wonder Woman #26

I like when the main character fails.  It gives them somewhere to go.

Things I liked: Diana honestly thought she was the only one who knew what was going on.  That king of hubris is what the gods love to mock.

Things I didn't like: Zola is made of trouble.

Red Hood and the Outlaws #26

Yay!  Jason has his memory back.  And yet, doom?

Things I liked: this storyline seems to have taken a long time, it's almost over.

It's not even Batman and Two-Face like it says on the cover.  They're not working together.

Things I liked: Erin's motivation almost makes sense.

Things I didn't like: why is Bruce getting involved again?

No real standouts this issue.

Things I liked: love getting all the different perspectives on Batman.

Things I didn't like: sometimes the dialogue can be a little stilted.

Nightwing #26

Nightwing with roommates is great.  It highlights all his personality quirks that get lost when the writer focuses on his superhero persona only.

Things I liked: this Mali the Mimic is interesting.  And now the Mad Hatter.

Things I didn't like: the drug that is going straight to human trials.  Makes for a good story; ignores reality.

Superman/Wonder Woman #3

Of all the people in the DC Universe, Batman is the last I'd go to for relationship advise.

Things I liked: the conversation between Batman and Superman was great.  Bruce gave some great advise.

Things I didn't like: don't get why Superman cares that anyone knows about his personal life.

Batgirl #26

She's finally got her shit back together.

Things I liked: she does honestly want her father to know.  I don't like that he refused to let her tell him, but I do think he knows on some level.

Things I didn't like: pretty bad plan from Knightfall, especially the part where she listens to James.

Justice League #25

Whatever world the Crime Syndicate comes from is messed up.

Things I liked: Nightwing thought about Owlman's offer.  I always enjoy a panel of stillness in an Ction comic.

Things I didn't like: Alfred is plotting something. I can feel it.

Justice League of America #10

I can't remember Stripey's alter ego, but I'm thinking the costume came from the Star-Spangled Kid and Stargirl's stepdad was a sidekick.

Things I liked: I'm honestly interested to see how this all works out for Stargirl.  I think there's going on than it looks like.

Things I didn't like: Martian Manhunter is very preachy.

Batman #26

Really enjoying Year Zero.

Things I liked: some of the facial expressions that Capullo gets are great.

Things I didn't like: this one was solid.

Detective Comics #26

If this is the payoff for the Man-Bat stuff I'm not sure I like it.

Things I liked: Batman is a dick.  I like that from a man in his position.

Things I didn't like: please spare me from that level of pseudoscience.

Batman/Superman #6

Don't know how I feel about side scrolling comics... It fits the video game theme.

Things I liked: Superman's inner monologue almost makes me like him.

Things I didn't like: Batman is now a nano robot?

Green Arrow #26

Making Green Arrow's origin make sense is always hard.  I like what they're trying to do here.

Things I liked: Ollie's internal monologue.  He's not a healed man.

Things I didn't like: the mystical appendage they're going with.  I can go with cults, but adding artifacts makes me nervous.

Damian: Son of Batman #2

Damian has a thing for stealing his predecessors clothes.  First it was Jason's tunic and now Dick's cowl.

Things I liked: I was right!  It makes more sense for Damian's Batman to be Dick.

Things I didn't like: the fight between Bruce and Damian.  I don't think Bruce would have just attacked and I don't think Damian would have accidentally stabbed him.

Teen Titans #25

Yay!  Bart's origin!  Boo!  Holoprog.

Things I liked: it's about time.  They've only been teasing this since the beginning.

Things I didn't like: it's too convenient.

Batman: The Dark Knight #25

Well, they've got better writing and now I hate the art.

Things I liked: Batman has a sense of humour.  A small one, but it makes him human.

Things I didn't like: it's so dark it's hard too what's going on.

Red Hood and the Outlaws #25

I hope Jason was lying about his age to Talia, otherwise my Robin timeline is off.

Things I liked: it's never good to see the Joker looming over Jason with a crowbar.

Things I didn't like: he's an idiot savant when it comes to beating people up.

Wonder Woman #25

What has Strife got planned.  It can't be good.

Things I liked: Strife intrigues me.  I want to know her game.

Things I didn't like: characters seemed stagnant here.  No one really moved forward.

Batman and Robin #25

They need a better visual clue that it's about to be a flashback.  It was too close to the current time to be obvious.

Things I liked: it gives Harvey a bit more.  Different anyway, it's a new take.

Things I didn't like: this is why I didn't like Batman Incorporated.  It brings the crazies to Bruce Wayne.

Nightwing #25

The best part of this is that it's obvious that Barbara is older than Dick.  Not by much but I'm glad she's older.

Things I liked: the slow reveal of his costume and some reason why the mob was after his parents.

Things I didn't like: kind of a dumb plot.  The kids didn't really have to start wearing the masks, but it's something a younger group would do.

Superman/Wonder Woman #2

I laughed out loud at this one.  Sometimes you know when a conversation isn't going to go well.

Things I liked: the conversation between Apollo and Superman hit all the right notes.

Things I didn't like: great... Zod.

Batgirl #25

Not Gail Simone, but it's still Batgirl.

Things I liked: insight into what makes a hero.

Things I didn't like: Gordon puts too much on his daughter.

Batman #25

I really hope Harper isn't the new Robin.  I don't like her enough.

Things I liked: detective work!  I always like when Batman is the detective.

Things I didn't like: Lucius turning on him.

Justice League of America #9

Hmm... If the prison is in their minds, is Stargirl still in the prison.

Things I liked: finding out more about Stargirl.  I'm not familiar with her.

Things I didn't like: I'm missing something.  I feel the answer is right there but I'm not seeing it.

Worlds' Finest #15

Well, that was sort of pointless.

Things I liked: she is her father's daughter.

Things I didn't like: how can Desaad screw with Power Girl's powers?

I really want to see these two with some of the bigger names in the DC universe.  I can't believe they've escaped notice.

Things I liked: Hel is very much like her father.  A little thing like no superpowers won't slow her down.

Things I didn't like: Desaad's plan is still pointless.

Worlds' Finest #13

Helena is very compartmentalised.  I don't think it would make her very effective.

Things I liked: they're a good team.  They compliment one another.

Things I didn't like: Desaad makes no sense.
