Forever Evil #6

Noooooooooo!

Things I liked: that Dick was willing to sacrifice himself.  Noble to the end.

Things I didn't like: Nightwing's dead.  Now, I expect that he's only mostly dead.  That Lex's plan is to kill him just long enough to defuse the bomb.  However, they've been hinting for months that this was the outcome and all the things I've been seeing for Batman's 75th anniversary are Dick-less.

Batman/Superman Annual #1

The paper stock for this title makes me feel like I'm reading something much classier.

Things I liked: Jason and Kara getting along.  They seem like they would.

Things I didn't like: the groupings seemed more like what the writer wanted than what is happening in the individual titles.  I still don't know how Steel and Batgirl were able to sneak off.

Detective Comics #29

Poor Catwoman, Batman broke her heart.

Things I liked: working with Poison Ivy was an interesting development.

Things I didn't like: the delivery system of the antidote.

Green Arrow #29

At least the Clan system makes a little sense.

Things I liked: good to see Diggle as part of the team.

Things I didn't like: Ollie's awe fully quick to toss out the sister card.

Batman/Superman #8

I think Batman has Helena's age all wrong.  There's no way she's only 17 with the lifestyle she and Karen lead.

Things I liked: I still want the Nightwing and Huntress meet up but the first go round with her father is OK.

Things I didn't like: I can't believe Batman is that trusting.  Even with the DNA test.

Teen Titans #28

Teenagers.  Stupid, stupid teenagers.

Things I liked: it's almost over.  This whole plot hasn't made much sense to me.

Things I didn't like: Soltice would rather go to prison forever than give up her first boyfriend.

Batman: the Dark Knight #28

Yet another Man-Bat.  Ho hum.

Things I liked: Batman pilfering evidence from Commissioner Gordon.

Things I didn't like: didn't we just have a story about a better Man-Bat serum.  And another one just before that?  There's got to be a better go-to for villains.

Justice League #28

For an origin story that's breaking up the flow, it's not bad.

Things I liked: the Metal Men are back!  With personalities that have been updated.

Things I didn't like: it was breaking the flow of Forever Evil.  If Johns wants to bring them back, why not as a back up feature like Shazam?

Red Hood and the Outlaws #28

Poor Jason, everywhere they go chaos follows.

Things I liked: a good arc bridge.  Sometimes a little downtime is a good thing.

Things I didn't like: I hadn't gotten the impression that Jason and Isabel were all that close.

Wonder Woman #28

I quite like the art in this series.  She looks solid, yet still feminine.

Things I liked: Wonder Woman always looks for the good in people.

Things I didn't like: Dio gave up pretty quick.

Batman and Robin #28

Woot!  Looks like the last of Batman and a Two-Face.  I wasn't a fan.

Things I liked: Batman refusing to leave Gordon.  He's had enough death.

Things I didn't like: I don't believe for a second that Harvey shot himself.

Batman Black and White #6

I think this is the last one.  It was a good issue nonetheless.

Things I liked: especially enjoyed the Robin story.

Things I didn't like: the Batman in the future story was the weakest.
