Supergirl #25

This is more complicated than it needs to be.

Things I liked: Superboy actually likes Kara before she's built on rage.

Things I didn't like: sigh, can't tell multiple stories simultaneously.

Supergirl #24

I know she's going to be a Red Lantern.  I can see why, so much of her is rage.

Things I liked: that goodness that's over.  I never like body snatching.

Things I didn't like: her dad stole her biddy, what more needs to be said?

Superboy #25

Coming into the middle here because I don't read Action.  I don't think I care.

Things I liked: Superman and his mom was sweet.

Things I didn't like: when I'm reading fanfiction and it tells me whose point of view is being shown I stop reading.  It's poor story telling.

Kings' Watch #3

Is Mandrake a vampire?

Things I liked: would be defender of the earth.  Tee hee!

Things I didn't like: not by DC so a pain to buy.

Vibe #9

They made him into a bomb?  Sucks to be Vibe more than usual.

Things I liked: actually not a bad twist.  He didn't trust them and he shouldn't have.

Things I didn't like: worst zipper in comics.  Is his shirt supposed to be open or closed?

Vibe #8

I kind of feel like there's a whole new story starting because they were tired of the old one.

Things I liked: hey, Amethyst actually makes sense here.

Things I didn't like: I'm like Vibe, totally in the middle of something I don't quite understand. 

Green Lantern New Guardians #25

I guess Kyle died in Red Lanterns.  I don't care enough to read it.

Things I liked: interesting idea.  Stealing the future to make paradise.

Things I didn't like: of course it'd all go wrong when Kyle visited.

Green Lantern New Guardians #24

Green Lantern used to be simple.  The green guys were the cops and the yellow guys the enemy then they confused it with the spectrum.

Things I liked: Hal's willing to work with someone. That dosen't happen very often.

Things I didn't like: the entities of light.  It doesn't make sense.

Green Lantern Corps #24

They know how to do big fights in Green Lantern.

Things I liked: old guy impressed me.

Things I didn't like: we were just getting to know the recruits and now they're gone.

Green Lantern #25

Oh Hal... Turning into the thing you hate.

Things I liked: I miss Killowog.

Things I didn't like: this is dumb.  Kyle sacrificed himself so that Hal could turn the universe into a police state?

Green Lantern #24

Hal's back in charge!  Yay!

Things I liked: right to business.  It's an interesting idea, but I personally think emotional wells would be continuously replenished.

Things I didn't like: if this results I. The destruction of everything except the Green Lanterns I'm with it, but I suspect they'll all get out of it.

Black Hand #1

Black Hand is another villain I'm not that familiar with.  He's creepy.

Things I liked: creepy.  Very creepy.  Though I do understand why police in the DCU would train for zombie attack.

Things I didn't like: how did he make a new body from ashes?

The Flash #24

I get it.  The Flash has such an awesome power it's early to forget all that he can do.

Things I liked: introspection can be tough.  This was well written.

Things I didn't like: Reverse Flash was Iris' brother.

Constantine #8

John fights dirty.

Things I liked: this is what I like about Constantine: his motives are not what you think they are.

Things I didn't like: I don't know who Tannarak is.

Constantine #7

I almost wish this was still Vertigo.  I think it needed the something extra.

Things I liked: John brought low has so many opportunities.

Things I didn't like: I don't get what Sargon is up to.

Catwoman #24

Under Githam is just weird.

Things I liked: Tesla is cool, too bad she's probably dead.

Things I didn't like: Tinderbox and the Joker's Daughter are dumb.

Aquaman #24

Convienient no?  Aquaman asleep for most of Forever Evil?

Things I liked: nice reselling of Atlantis' sinking.

Things I didn't like: who's really the villain here?

Ocean Master #1

I thought I'd gotten through villain month.

Things I liked: Orm is Orm.  Nothing really gets to him.

Things I didn't like: actually, this was pretty solid.  Why would he care?

Animal Man #25

I'm really far behind... This is from November.

Things I liked: Buddy and Ellen are special together.

Things I didn't like: and where have they dragged him?

Animal Man #24

Wow!  Again, it's been so long but this is still fantastic.

Things I liked: Ellen has finished grieving.

Things I didn't like: Brother Blood is getting too much power.

All-Star Western #24

I feel like I haven't read these for ages.  Still love Jonah Hex.

Things I liked: Jonah has such a simple outlook on life.  He knows who he is and doesn't care what people think.

Things I didn't like: the court let him off easy.

Nightwing #30

Poor Dick.  If any of them are least suited to go it alone it's him.

Things I liked: I think I'm going to like Tim Seeley writing Grayson.  I think he gets him.

Things I didn't like: why he has to stay dead.  I think Batman is wrong here.

Batman #31

I don't know what I like more: Batman working alone or Batman leading his troops.

Things I liked: Batman marshaling his troops.  He doesn't have much to work with but they trust him.

Things I didn't like: where did Nygma get the lions?

Secret Origins #2

Batman, Aquaman and Starfire; characters whose origins I'm familiar with.

Things I liked: Aquaman's new origin makes a lot more sense.  I really like the addition of Dr. Shin making Arthur his life's work.

Things I didn't like: Kori's origin has subtle differences from her original and I'm still not sure I like those changes or if they don't matter.  Kori's joy is gone, but she was a slave.
