Two new stories in this one.

Things I liked: the first story was better than the second.  I'd forgotten she could talk to animals too.

Things I didn't like: I miss the origin of clay.

Future's End Red Hood and the Outlaws #1

I never used to like Jason Todd.  Stories like this one changed my mind.

Things I liked: good story.  Just great story telling.

Things I didn't like: didn't expect Jason to marry Kori.  Or that Tamaraneans had divorce proceedings.

Future's End Wonder Woman #1

I should have read this one before Superman/Wonder Woman.

Things I liked: the colour palate.  It's a bit muted and it gives a whole different component to the story.  It took me a few pages to notice it.

Things I didn't like: conecting stories that don't seem like it.

Things I liked: so Selena's dad is a crime boss.  That's not a Falcone.  Neat.

Things I didn't like: Hush is right.  Wayne Beacon does look like Sauron's eye.

Things I didn't like: Eclipse sure talks about Canada a lot.  If her power is to bring her land with her what happens when Northern Ontario is full of black flies in the spring?

I didn't know where this was going, but I like where it ended up.

Things I liked: excellent story.  It's always hard to write a story backwards but this really worked.

Weird to see Batman and Riddler working together.

Things I liked: it was a good story.  I didn't see the twist and I liked how Batman got Riddler to go along.

Things I didn't like: Batman would not leave Nigma to that fate.

I don't like Lex is League material.

Things I liked: Batman talking Jessica down.  He isn't always a dick.

Things I didn't like: I don't get what Lex thinks he's doing.  He knows the League is non-lethal.

They do love their 3-D covers.

Things I liked: Emiko has been integrated seamlessly.

Things I didn't like: I should have read this one before Future's End.

Grant Morrison is having too much fun with this.

Spiiler's back.  In a way that actually makes more sense.

Things I liked: juxtaposition between the three fights.

Things I didn't like: Falsario buys it from an unknown sword?  Weird.

Teen Titans #2

I still don't understand why they started from #1 again.  Aside from Gar being green everything's the same.

Things I liked: Chirper is inventive.

Things I didn't like: if Manchester Black wants S.T.A.R. To move, he could just make them move.

Red Hood and the Outlaws #34

Kori has more depth in the new 52 than people give her credit for.

Things I liked: this was a good arc.  It felt like something was happening.  That the three of them were coming to a crossroads.

Things I didn't like: I don't get the liquid behind the lock and the white dress on the beach.  And it looks like waiting two months is the only solution.

Batman and Robin #34

Yay!  Dick was involved in the meeting.

Things I liked: that he's not planning to take the Robins to Apokolips.

Things I didn't like: and why can't he tell them Dick is alive?

Things I liked: there seems to be some attempt to move the story forward.

That's a lot of female heroes.

Things I liked: Batgirl knows she's not a murderer.  That'll make things so much better for her.

Things I didn't like: it's the end of Gail Simone's run.

I really liked this one.

Things I liked: Batman spending the night taking down just one guy.

Things I didn't like: very strong issue.  I don't have a complaint.

Superman/Wonder Woman #11

I'm not interested in following all the tie ins so I'm only reading part of the story.

Things I liked:Wonder Woman is always very cool.

Things I didn't like: these are big events.  It should probably be mentioned in some of the other titles that these same characters appear.

Justice League Canada #4

Or Justice League United depending on where it was bought.

Things I liked: the relationship between Animal Man and Green Arrow continues to be enjoyable.

Things I didn't like: are we getting Adam Strange or Alanna Strange?

I'm loving Jason Todd in this.

Things I liked: the way Jason got to Babs.  He's using his brain.

Things I didn't like: the way Red Hood's cowl is being drawn.  It's not supposed to mimic a face, it's supposed to be featureless.

I was curious about Frank, Amy and Hawkman.  I was hoping for more.

Things I liked: the plot does tick right along.

I don't know how I feel about this new, misunderstood Croc.

Things I didn't like: the art made Bard look really old inside and like a woman on the cover.

They have a word that just turns Dick off!  This is so sixties.

Things I liked: Dick is still about the people he left behind.

Things I didn't like: Bruce didn't tell Alfred.  I hope that hurts him later.

The art is so great.

Things I liked: nice use of Harvey Bulloch.

I'm beginning to like Lois.

Things I liked: Cole's island adventure is fun.

Things I didn't like: revolving artists makes character identification tough.

It's almost over.

Things I liked: Diana's trust of Batman.

Things I didn't like: her god of war form.  Taking off the bracelets is dumb.

Green Arrow #34

Emiko seems a little too competent.

Things I liked: nice to have the addition of Diggle.

Things I didn't like: I can't figure Emiko.

Justice League #32

I've always kind of liked the Doom Patrol.  I don't know if I'll like these guys.

Things I liked: Robotman is still the solid one.

Things I didn't like: the Chief is uh, crazy.

Detective Comics Annual #3

Calandar Man has never been one of the most awe inspiring of Batman villains.

Things I liked: Batman taking the time to do the little things: like make a stand against child abusers.

Things I didn't like: the mask of mirrors.  It can be overdone when it could be done with make up.
