Aquaman #5

Still really enjoying this take on Aquaman. Stranding Aquaman in the desert has the potential to be cliche, but a johns pulls it off here. Aquaman is so lost and vulnerable that it adds dimension to his character. He doesn't normally have that.

Things I liked: that he still acknowledged the potential for cliche by having a late night talk show host make fun of the Navy saving Aquaman from the desert.

Things I didn't like: Mera's disappearing shirt. The artist coulnt seem to decide if Mera slept naked or in a bikini.
