I want to like this title, I really do. But, as much as I like the characters, I don't think it's working here. For one thing the story doesn't seem to take into account what's happening in the rest of the DC Universe. Resurrection Man and Animal were in no way able to participate in the world wide events that were taking place in Justice League Dark. The world cataclysm was only taking place in this title and that doesn't work for me.
Things I liked: John Constantine shone in this issue. It was a fun read.
Things I didn't like: inconsistency. I just can't get past the fact that they're not connected. Justice League gets away with it by virtue of setting itself in the past. Teen Titans acknowledges what's happening in other titles. Stormwatch says that they prevent news from leaking to more conventional sources. All the team titles work to make themselves part of the overall continuity except Justice League Dark.
